Located just minutes away from the charming Mediaeval village of Saint-Emilion, in a local winery and B&B, right in the heart of the Bordeaux countryside.

The “Petit Verdot” room is situated on the ground floor, and has its own private entrance, rendering it an intimate hideaway. This 39 square meter haven enshrines a bespoke King-sized oak bed, fitted with a Tuft & Needle foam mattress, and made up with sumptuous linens by Matouk. The eclectic design of the room creates a calm and homely space. A modern ceiling fan and neutral tones marry with an exposed beam ceiling and sandstone masonry evocative of the Occitan mas and ostal structures. Ecru linen curtains reveal a French window, which opens to a small garden. The en-suite bathroom is equipped with a zellige tiled walk-in shower, a toilet, two sinks, a Panasonic hairdryer, Matouk towels and bathrobes and Aesop toiletries.

Your host will welcome you with a glass of champagne on your arrival, and serve you a beautiful breakfast of local produce and pastries in the morning. The room is always furnished with fresh flowers, and sheets and towels are changed every third day. If you need help with planning your activities during your stay, your host will happily assist you. You can also request and enjoy a private tour of the winery, and a wine tasting. Complimentary parking and electric vehicle charging are provided. 

The Clos Saint-Emilion is just under an hour away from Bordeaux and the Bordeaux-Mérignac International Airport. The TGV connection to Paris from Bordeaux is 3 hours, too, making this exclusive sanctuary perfectly accessible.
